IndieB.R.A.G. has named “Toru: Wayfarer Returns” a B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree.
“Our mission is to discover talented self-published authors and help them give their work the attention and recognition it deserves. Our primary focus is fiction across a wide range of genres; however, we selectively consider non-fiction books as well…All ebooks brought to the attention of indieBRAG, LLC are subjected to a rigorous selection process. This entails an initial screening to ensure that the author’s work meets certain minimum standards of quality and content…If it passes this preliminary assessment, it is then read by a selected group of members drawn from our global reader team. In both the initial screening phase and, if appropriate, the subsequent group evaluation phase, each book is judged against a comprehensive list of relevant literary criteria…On average, only 10-15% of the books we consider are awarded our B.R.A.G. Medallion and are presented on our website.”
More information about the award can be found here on their website.
Well, this makes us pretty darn proud as well, especially after we found some amazing authors honored as well on there, ones we admired and looked up to as giants and Real Authors. We’re excited just to share some digital space with them. We humbly strive to get better and better with every book, and feel the pain of every shortcoming in the work keenly, but are pleased that our first effort out in the wide world met with this level of support for basic quality and standards.
Here’s their post on Amazon as well, perky and short.
“We are proud to announce that TORU by Stephanie R. Sorensen is a B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree. This tells a reader that this book is well worth their time and money!”
There you have it. Well worth your time and money!
